Do think 96 driving lessons is bad. do you think i should be put in for my test?
Answers:
I am a driving instructor in the UK and have taught people of all abilities. Over the years, (14) I have got people through the UK driving test, (the toughest in Europe), in anything from 8 lessons to over 150. I assume you are from the States. Does your instructor re-cap previous lessons and stays calm and patient with you, no matter how hard it may seem?
Maybe a little private practice with family and friends may help. Ask you instructor to swap over and demonstrate several turns and junctions etc.
Do you feel competent with your driving? Is your instructor taking you for a ride? If you don't feel happy, go for a different instructor and see what the new one thinks of your driving. Are you learning in an automatic? In Britain we nearly always use a manual gearbox. They are difficult to get right.
Above all, do what you feel is right. Maybe a change will do you good.
Good luck and don't give up.
Wow that is alot, the average is about 40, but then if you dont feel ready yet then dont book the test until you, everyone is different and learn at different rates
I passed my drivers test the first time, with only 2 times prior of driving at all. 96 lessons, you better be a pro
Why haven't you been put in for your test?
I passed 1st time after 30 lessons. Is there a problem - are you a nervous driver?
It is a lot, maybe you are a very careful driver after all those lessons! Ask your teacher if you are ready to go in for your test, but do not worry about how many lessons you have had. We all learn at different rates and it does not matter how long it has taken you to learn. I am very slow at learning practical stuff, it took me ages to learn my job, but now I have learnt it i am as good as the next person.
It would really be a kindness to yourself and all the other people on the road if you just forget about driving. Some people NEVER learn to drive properly, safely, and more or less accident-free.
Be good to yourself by being honest in admitting that driving is NOT for you---and take a bus instead, or a taxi. Look at all the INSURANCE payments and CAR payments you'll get out of, and all the gasoline you will NOT have to buy.
If you haven't learned how to drive by now, it's UNLIKELY you'll pass anyway.
You might as well wait and round it up to 100.
i have had the same kind of trouble, if you feel confident enough and you just stay calm and positive them you will be fine, i think you should go for it
depends ive probably had as many as that to be honest, have u tried talking to ur driving insturcter and seeing how he/she thinks u are doing more importantly how do u think u r doing?
Your instructor must love you for all the money your putting his way. I would seriously consider changing instructors if I were you!!!
I think you should put in for a world record.
Depends what your driving is like do you feel ready for your test. Does your instructor think you are ready. Does he keep telling you off for mistakes. If you are not ready and you dont feel you are improving change your instructor
I think you should stick to walking
if your instructor thinks you're ready then go for it. If not then keep practising ;P
yes
