How do I reset my service indicator on my BMW 3series?

Its a BMW 316i YEAR 2000

you have to have a special tool for it other wise take it to a bmw dealer and they can do it for you
You have to go to your local bmw dealer, they'll reset it for about a tenner.
by pressing the little red reset button
push and hold trip meter button switch ignition on service reset should then be displayed then switch ignition off
go to website bimmerdiy.com they show you how to reset it yourself
Buy a Draper "Service Key For BMW" Draper tools part No. 51540 and re set it. easy ! (or borrow one). Many BMW entusiasts have one of these, I certainly do and it works perfectly.
