How do I remove dried on flies from the front of a car?

After 2 weeks in France the flies and mosquitoes squashed on the front of my car are baked hard. I've pressure washed, scrubbed and polished but to avail!

Answers:
try vegetable oil and a soft cloth
white vinegar and kitchen roll - leave it to soak a bit first
wash it.then buy its called bug and road tar remover and follow directions on bottle..you can buy it at any auto parts store.

HOT water and soap.
There are several products specifically for this. Any good car accessory shop will sell it, ie Halfords.
Use an unzip utility.
Try T-Cut, Maybe it needs something with bite, then apply the wax afterwards.
Try letting them soak for a while?
Try a wet newspaper, Theres some property in the ink?Let me know if it works, somebody at work was on about it!
Some form of T-Cut should do it. And some elbow grease!
HOT soapy water. let it soak in and repeat

Or a brillo pad (that ones a Joke)
White vinegar mixed with Windex
Didn't u try the locality's best,Manual car wash, with sweet water?
Baked on bugs are tough. Most auto parts stores sell special bug and tar removers. I've linked to a few examples.
You can go to Halfords and buy a foam spray. I can't remember the name of it but it comes in an aerosol can - probably called something like "bugs be gone" :-)
I use a 3.5 horsepower petrol driven angle grinder. Works every time. Overuse can affect the lustre on some metallic finishes I've heard.
I have the answer! Warm water and fabric softener / dryer sheets. Use the sheets like a rag and soak the carcasses for a minute or so, then wipe clean. We have a severe problem in the deep south (USA) twice a year with flying 'love bugs'. The damn things are so thick sometimes they will clog radiators. Trust me, the fabric sheets will all but disolve the bugs and will not hurt the finish of your car.
Use a bug remover sponge. you can get them cheap, looks like a sponge covered in a netting. And it wont scratch your paint.
Well, a predicament I have encountered many a time in the Mid-East. I took on board the marvellous advice that if you rub an old newspaper sheet over the thing before setting off, it creates a clear protective film from the newsprint. This then makes it easy to wipe off all the bugs later. However, have you tried a bit of
T-Cut afterwards on bodywork, and good old Domestos on the windscreen. Left for a while, it seems to release the offending items. Woth a try, and no harm done to the vehicle.
Try TAR SPOT REMOVER just done ours after jet wash didnt touch tham, came off a rteat.
vinegar
Try a flamethrower for the really stubborn ones!
