How many cities in the UK have the underground service?

Answers:
London, Glasgow and Newcastle. Birmingham, Nottingham, Manchester, Blackpool, Sheffield and Croydon have trams.
2 london and glasgow
Newcastle has it too. Maybe Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester?
Newcastle also has an underground service - The Metro.
London, Westminster, Glasgow, Newcastle and Liverpool
London has the London Underground
Glasgow has the SPT Subway (SPT is the local transport authority)
Newcastle has the Tyne and Wear Metro
Liverpool has MerseyRail

London's is by far the largest, and is the oldest. Glasgow's is a single circle and is one of the oldest, however the local rail service also has an underground section through the city. Liverpool isn't an underground as such , more a local rail service using a tunnel through the city centre, much like glasgow. This was built in the 70's. Finally the Metro in Newcastle was buit in the early 80's combining closed suburban rail routes with a new tunnel in the city centre
