Just bought a fiat punto 3 months ago from reg vardy and they now tell me its due its second service @200£ why
Answers:
thats the way Reg Vardy work, it is worth kicking up a stink particuklarly if the salesman told you that it would be serviced before you collected it. Most garages value customers and would not send a car out that was due a service unless the buyer was aware of this as part of the financial bargaining.
Vardys does not enjoy a good reputation amongst the trade for its customer service, many people only buy once from them as they quickly realise that it was not such a good deal as they had thought.
Most garages want you to come back and buy cars in the future buy Vardys seem to work on a different approach ie. get as much money as you can and don't expect them to come back
BECAUSE THEY ARE W@NKERS!
If the service is due, they obviously did not do one BEFORE you bought it, ask them.
If they definitely DID do it, you don't need another now.
If your car is due for a service, have it done at your local independent (family) garage, you'll probably pay less, and there will be no more confusion as to whether it has been serviced or not.
Because they like to get as much money out of you as possible. If it's a new car it doesn't need a service this soon. If it does need a service you don't have to go to them (unless it's on HP and says specifically in the contact), shop around and you will find it cheaper elsewhere.
Because it is tired.
check your service history and is the service light on?200 soulds a bit on the dear side shop around as long as the garage is vat registered manufacturers warrenty is unaffected
