Just a quick question, does anyone have a dad who complains everytime you drive him around?

Answers:
yup, he reckons im going too fast at 30mph, that i dont read road signs, and i take corners too fast. any my dad is only 64. Oh almost forgot he always tells me i park in the wrong places ie if its not outside the door to where he s at then its wrong.
Yep, he is 90 and moans when i smoke, if i have the window down, loud music, if i dont park my car in a disabled spot when he is in it, gonna get him a bus timetable
i haven't had a peaceful ride with him since the day he taught me how to drive.. makes for interesting trips though!
is that you my son? get of home
Yep either driving to fast.too close.or too erratically. Actually doesn't seem to complain as much anymore, I guess he is in more of hurry now and realizes I'll get him there faster.lol
NO
Yep..it's his God given right too.

He drove you around and I'm sure had to listen to enough complaining from you growing up (I know mine did). Let him, laugh about it and enjoy it.you won't have him forever. Besides, it is good training for when your kids are driving you around.
No because my dad can still drive. But i do drive my 93 year old grandmother around and she complains about everything from the heat to the traffic. It is just a old age thing i guess when you get that old you complain about things because things are nothing like when they were younger.
I am soon going to be 36 years old and my Dad, who is 58 and still drives, complains when ANYONE drives him anywhere.

It is rare that he needs driven (usually to take his van for service or pick up a rental) But NO ONE drives as well as he does, and he reminds us ALWAYS.
My dad passed away about two years after I learned to drive. Dads complain that is there job! You are susposed to do everything the way they say. And if your driving the family car watch out! Now you are the one who dented scratched every dent even the ones you did not do. Enjoy this time with dad. You will look back on it with fond memorys. Given the chance find a car just like your dads wrecked and borrow it and have it towed to the drive way. Wicked yes but fun too! see what he does when you pull up in the undamaged car.
grow up and lisen fater knows best
Yup.. my father is quite anal, he alerts me of every pothole on the road, and every crack. I swear when he drives its hes a sober drunk avoiding cracks. I tell him Im working out my shocks..
nah my dad doesnt complain but he will make sly comments on my driving he is a driving instructor so he forgets to leave "instructor mode" in his OWN car. but my mum on the other hand will not take her eyes off the road and will tell me cars that are half a mile up the road..

Its funny how different people you drive with and their reactions..
yes my dad complains on my driving and ive been running a tow truck service for close to 20 years , ive drove in the worst conditions to go rescue people that slid off road or wrecked ,,, but what the chit , i give my kids hell in return just so i dont have to go get them when they wreck
yep, says things like thats not how i told you to hold the wheel, slow down, even told me off for washing it the wrong way
