Anyone own a pug 205 gti?

Brilliant Cars
My last one was a1.6 gearbox with a 1.9 engine a few tweaks here and there and BYE BYE SUBARU, due to the power to weight ratio.
Get a Phase 2 1.6 GTi, not to heavy on the insurance and quite economical as they dont weigh much. I have had a few and they are Brilliant. absoulotly fantastic,
Mine first 1.6 had done 175000 miles and was till going strong before an old man killed it by inserting a Toyota into it.
There really isnt much difference between the 1.6 and the 1.9 but if you are planning on doing a lot of motorway miles go for the 1.9 the 1.6 is better suited for town and backroad driving though.
They dont rust as they are Galvanised unlike the old XR2i`s which have all but dissapeared.
A really good drivers car and with a lot of street cred. All the newer cars weigh a lot more so are slower 0-60.
Though it is getting harder to find a good one that hasnt been chaved up.
I love em
If Satan drove he would have one of these.
The undisputed King of the hot hatches.
