Which unit is a sector shaft a part of?

Answers:
the sector shaft is the vertical shaft in the steering box, the pitman arm attaches to it.
Usually a steering box but can also be applied to parts of a gear box
you've got an entire car in bits on your living room floor and no instructions, haven't you? I don't know the answer; I'd guess gearbox but I don't know
Gearbox, manual or automatic.
a selector shaft is part of a manual gearbox
This could be subject to a difference of opinion but to me a sector shaft is generally a term used to describe the shaft that joins the steering column to the steering gear box.
