How do I get N - RUST protection off the paintwork with out damaging the paint?



Answers:
If you are talking about underseal, the best way is with a rag soaked in petrol, white spirit, turps or methylated spirit. Any of these liquids will soften the underseal and remove it but not harm the paint as long as the paint is properly dry.
get someone who knows what they are doing to do it for you!
Try some denatured alcohol on a soft rag.
