What is the approximate voltage produced from ONE CELL of lead / acid battery?
Answers:
Called 12 volt batteries, these batteries usually are charged @ 14.1 volts so each of the 6 cells in the battery carry 2-2.3 volts.
1.2 to 1.5 Volts
I agree with the other answer. 1.2 to 1.5 VDC
Two volts, approx.
2 volts thats why there there are 6 cells in a car battery 12 volt system
Fully charged about 1.5 volts but that will decrease when under load.
two volts
2.1 volts per cell. A 6 volt battery has 3 cells, and a 12 volt battery has 6 cells. At full charge the battery should have a total or 12.45 to 12.6 volts.
battery voltage on a full charged battery is 12.6
there are 6 cells 12.6 /6=2.1 volts per cell
the batteries are charged between 13.5 and 14.5 to keep charged but that isn't the charge of the battery if you put a load of 25 amps on the battery for 30 seconds to remove static charge the voltage should be 12.5 on a good battery
if your planing on using one cell of a car battery good luck separating one out
2 volts.
i stripped down a battery, it was 9.6 volts,it had 8 cells so that makes 1.2 volts obviously there must be 10 cells to a 12 volt battery.
