Registering a cherished number plate?

I don't know what a v750 is or a cherished number plate. If you are questioning what should have been done, maybe you should email eBay to find out what they have to say. If the seller was supposed to have done something and didn't, this could be a violation of eBay's rules.
I'm not trying to be one of those annoying people who doesn't answer the question, but I think you should specify what a cherished number plate is and what state you are in. Plate registering procedures are different in every state. we don't have "cherished numbers" in Idaho.

Your best bet is to contact the DVLA, they will be able to advise on what you need to do. They actually have quite a bit of info on their website. Try checking out the link below.
If you are not named on the V750, you have to be named as the nominee. Scrictly speaking, the seller should've declared and signed you as the nominee before they sent it to you.
