Excessive brake disc 'run out' indicates that the brake is what?

Answers:
That the discs are no longer within manufactures tolerance It is possible to re face but usually cheaper to replace. You also need to look for the cause it could be a sticking caliper or that they have simply worn out.Regards MIck
Warped. Needs replacing. Run-out is measured against a fixed reference point.
bad caliper.
disc pads need replacing. look for "green" pads. last longer and better braking.
yes run-out is disc warpage usually due to overheating. when you press hard on the pedal you will feeling it pulsating up and down when they are badly warped. usually they cannot be cut straight again, you have to get new ones.
it means that your brake pads are worn too thin!
You could also have excessive wobble in brand new (perfect) brake rotors due to the bearings and wheel assembly tolerances. Sometimes the rotor can simply be remounted on different studs to bring the runout into specification.
A distorted disc..replace immediately
disc run out means the DISC is not running true to the hub ..check disc for warp , if discs are all blued they are prob scrap ( overheated ) also check wheel bearings
Knackered!
