Astra 1.4 k reg single point injection want bigger engine in it. cant be multi point . wat engines would go in

its a m3 astra ive worked on cars alot but not sure wat will go in maybe nova gte. cavy engine not sure any ideas

Answers:
A Vauxhall Cavalier 1.6i engine will go straight in no problems, single point version, have done it plenty of times. It is also the easiest
you can drop a 16v ecotec in there or a 16v redtop but you will need to change the ecu and get it coded, also for best results drop the matching gearbox in as well and remember as with any mod you need to uprate your brakes and suspension and inform your insurance company or your policy will be null and void
use nova gte bottomend block crank pistons ect. with ur head and manifolds inj ect result is a 1.6 singlepoint inj engine . uneedto raise fuel pressure to approx 3 bar with vac conected to in crese fuling 4 the same iject time in milliseconds ie uwant more fuel to b injected to cylinders over same time say 0.4 m,s
what the guy above me said.

Wonder why Vauxhall mk2 cavs were multi point and Mk3's were only single point...
