Vauxhall vectra-surely the worse car ever designed?
Answers:
hate them as they are the only car that i get sick in
HMM the car for the new millennium that was facelifted in 1999. says it all.
Lada Riva. Need I say more?
yes it is pretty boring.
Nahh that bubble car that had no reverse and the door was on the front!!
Brilliant, drive home into your garage and your stuck in your car! What was that car??
I think they look quite good, but I personally love and have a VW.
uuuuh, have you ever seen a Yugo?? OMG! Or the Ponitac Aztek? Man, what were these people thinking?
I disagree. My last car was a Vectra. Automatic transmission, Black, and it had all the electrics, cd player and aircon and a nice 2 litre engine. Lots of luxury, the way I like it.
It moved like greased lightning too. And it took corners that caused other cars to get upset. All the people I knew were really envious of me.
If you think that, you've obviously never seen, heard or smelled a Trabant, the old East German vehicle.
I disagree. I believe the worst design may very well have been Trabant's decision to make the body of their car from the same stuff they use to make paper milk cartons.
it most certainly is
The car your thinking of (no reverse etc) was an Isetta Bubble car - Meschershmitt also made a very similar car. They have models of them for sale on ebay should you wish to look at one.
A car is just a car it gets you there. Its what you make of life when your not in the car that's important.
No there was a worse one - also a vauxhall though - they called it a chevette - it was more commonly known as a 'shove it'.
When travelling at more than 50mph the roof rippled and sounded very much like Rolf Harris's wobble board.
No, I don't think so. There have been plenty worse - and sorry if I upset a few people here, because I do understand the reasoning behind the design - but I still think that they look so silly - the SMART car!
I can't imagine driving along the road and having a car behind me where the back seat should be!
Perhaps you have listened to Mr Clarkson a little two often. Its not a design classic but often a bad ride is better than a long walk.Regards Mick
nothing wrong with the vectra, does what it says on the tin!
