How much does the average MOT Test cost?

Answers:
ive just taken my car for the mot it cost me £40 im glad it went through without a problem not bad for an "L reg". if the car fails and you take it away to fix it, it has to be back at the test station before the end of the next working day. After that its got to have a full mot test again at the full price
the test? fifty quid.

Fixing your car so it passes? Guess any number you like.
£40-£50 look around your area
The test is not too costly but the mechanic who carries out the work so it will pass costs an arm and at least three legs.
My car has just had an M.O.T. and I paid £44 in U.K.
I thought an MOT cost around £30. depends on where you go maybe.. again to fix it.. pick a number and treble it..!
£35 for the MOT..its the list of fails you get after that's the real mystery.
about 35 to 50 pound last time i looked
12 years ago it woz £60
30 quid in west wales.
£30 queens garage manchester
The official price is £44.15 for cars (class 4)
look for a garage that gives discount or free retests.
i suppose it depends where you live but around where i live it's £32.00 and i know an extremely good and honest mechanic to carry out any work that needs doing
