How many years driving experiance do you need in England before driving in Europe?
Answers:
You dont need any but the insurance might put you off.
My cousin passed in the UK and went straight to France, he has never really driven on the left side of the road (7 yrs ago)
she can drive now, you need no experience to drive in europe!
I never heard of this before.
iv just handed over my license and been given a car
No,its euro..drive there the same day as you pass your test.
I would not recommend anyone who has just passed their test to drive on spanish roads, they are horrendous, I dont like driving here at all! and I have been driving for years!
as long as she a full license then she can drive away as far as i no.
No, she needs to be fully qualified thats all. You need to get Spanish qualified only if you was staying there for more than a year.
no number of years required. She can drive within the EU, no problems. Just follow the driving rules and laws of that particular country.
Check the guidelines on the car hire company you are using. I think holidya autos say 2/3 yrs full UK licence. have a look

Im pretty sure you need 3 years if you plan on hiring a car and need to be over 25, but if its her own car then shouldnt be a problem

No restrictions on licencing to drive in Spain, however for hiring a car she'll need at least a year's experience, and must be at least 21, depending on the hire company. Some companies will need more experience than this and will only hire to over-25's.
sorry duggiedug, but you can drive in spain on a UK license for as long as you wnat to, as long as it is one of the credit card size photo license, you do not need to change it for a Spainish one. The only proviso to that is if you are nearing the time you need regular license medicals, i.e. age 70, you are advised to get a spanish one as it is easier to extend it. But as long as you ahve a full UK license you can drive anywhere in the EU.Driving in Spoain is hazardous however, the spaniards don'r seem to take any notice of lane discipline at roundabouts, and may just go round them the wrong way if they feel like it.
