What is the tread depth on a new car tyre??

Answers:
it varies. 4x4 tyres are so deep theres people living at the bottom of the tread pattern who arent even aware we exist!

average is 10 -15mm. wear limit is 1.6mm (thats what the tiebars, or wear indicators are for between the tread pattern) oh, and the legal limit is soon tpo be raised to 3mm.
WTF is a "car tyre"?

TFTP
I think it's 7 or 8mm
It depends on the brand and quality and type of the tyre you buy.
standard is 8mm but can vary depending on manufacturer and tyre application
you need tyre's on cars.man lol
On a standard car its between 6 or 7mm deep.
8mm is the norm some of the cheaper stuff seems to have 9mm at times
