Are there any beaches within an hour and a half of Glasgow that you can drive on to?

I know it used to be possible at Croy, but it's now gated off.

yes with the new M77 and upgrading of the roads. it take me 25 minutes to get to prestwick from the edge of the Clyde. Ayr and troon are close by.
Edinburgh is an hour and you can bypass it to get to portobello easily.
Helensburgh is about an hour away and loch lomond is half an hour away.
