My engine popped,white smoke came out whats the problem?

The head gasket has gone. The Oil and water in the engine are mixing and causing the white smoke.
Also check the oil cap. The oil should be black. If it looks like a salad cream colour, then time for a new head gasket.
You may also have a lack of performance and mis-firing.

What year and model is your car? Does it still run? Could be you blew a head gasket. White smoke is usually steam from water getting into the combustion chamber. However some early Saab Turbo's blew whit smoke when the turbos failed. Check you coolant tank if it has oil in it you blew a gasket.

Sounds like a head gasket or cracked head.
You could have dropped a valve. I had this happen on a Corvette many years ago. The valve retainers were aluminum and the #5 intake dropped,cracked the head and cylinder. I had a sleeve installed since it was a LT-1 block and I found aother angle plug heat with the same casting #. Take the spark plugs out and you'll probably find out with cylinder the problrem is in.
White smoke is antifreeze burning off, most likely because the head gasket has broken, white smoke coming out the tail pipe is a sign of gasket troublee too.
Dunno, but you'd best put some more smoke in it to replace the stuff that escaped.
(Seriously, could be head gaskets, broken rings, or a number of other things.)
