Answers:
IF YOU PUT THE TWO SWORDS IN A SECURED STEEL CASE THAT YOU CAN PUT A PAD LOCK ON IT THAT SHOULD BE FINE I HAVE TWO PAINTBALL GUNS I HAVE TO DO THE SAME AS POLICE WOULD DO ME FOR A SECTION 5 FIRE ARMS OFFENCE WHICH I THINK SWORDS COME UNDER THE SAME CATTAGORY IF IN DOUBT JUST CONTACT YOUR LOCAL POLICE STATION OR MAIL THEM TO UR ADRESS
u can put them into one of those guitar cases
Send them via a courier.
A car alway a good option
get a cab
put them in a long poster box or a cardboard box wrap them up in pretty wrapping up aprer and if anyone asks asaying iam buying a cot for my newborn baby .
Buy a super-sabre on the train.
Have them well packaged, and place them under the bus where luggage and parcels go.
Couriers are actually just as reasonable as shipping by bus.
TRY IT IN YOUR SHOULDER
providing they are well wrapped up and you can not get them out in a matter of seconds you are allowed to move them from one place to another. If still unsure phone your local police station.
put them in a solid suit case
Dress up like the pirate of the carribbean and put one sword on each hip. Remember the hat with the feather and the eyepatch on your head. Have a friend go with dressed as something totally different so that it looks like you are going to a fancy dress. ~Everyone will think the swords are those fake ones because they will be in their sheaths anyway.
Stay with them in the conductors compartment of a train if you go by rail, you got a long bag you can take? Maybe take some black bags and tie one on each end?
Have them properly wrapped in cardboard boxes. Ensure that the box is sealed.

Wrap the swords in bubble-wrap first.
Thats easy old pal. Get someone to swallow them for you
wrap them up in paper or a black bag or even better bubble wrap
use lots of string to shoow you do not intend too open it
then put them in a box with the word in big red lettering

ANTIQUE .FAGUILe

if its on a bus or couch then you should tell the driver what you have got before you board. make sure the box is seald tight
and put it in the lugguge rack

as long as you do not get them out and start waving it around you should be okay
purchase a lockable toolbox, and a padlock.. no really. thats it
You had better call whoever you decide to use and ask them what their policy is on carrying these items onto the plane, bus or what have you. Follow it to the letter of the law, or risk having them confiscated. No way they'll let you carry them on a plane. I would NOT ship them home via UPS, or any other courier. They are notorious for losing things.
100 miles isn't that far. Can't you arrange to have a friend drive you?
why not send them to yourself through the post?
JUST MAIL THEM TO YOURSELF.
