Does anyone know how to reposition windscreen wipers on a vauxhall cavalier after the nut has fallen from arm?

Answers:
If you turn the ignition on and then turn the wipers on and then off, the linkages will return to the stop position. Place the wiper arm on the serated spindle and then position themn so the passenger side on is resting on the bottom of the screen and refit the nut and tighten it finger tight then a 1/4 turn with the correct size spanner. The drivers side should be refitted the same excpet it should be about 1 inch off the bottom of the screen and then tightened in exactly the same way
no sorry
remove the wiper with no nut, turn wipers on and then off let them settle back into position then re-fit your wiper with nut.
The housing should be serrated. Put them in the parked position and remount.
