Why are hubcaps?

Answers:
That isn't a complete question.

But perhaps you are asking why they exist. And I suppose the answer is to make your car look less naked.
Why are hubcaps..so shiny? . to hypnotize people driving down the road.
Because they are caps for your hubs.
THEY KEEP THE NUTS ON THE WHEELS
If you mean, What are hubcaps? They are wheel trims
A cheap ugly piece of plastic or metal that still looks better than painted black rims.
a hub cap is like a skipper in charge off a huge ship.skipper type
why not
..on a vehicle? To help keep road dirt out of the rims and away from the lug nuts. .made of plastic? cause they are cheap. ..shiny? to make your car look nice instead of looking at the black rim. Hope that helps.
