How do you change rear brake pad on a peugeot 307?
Answers:
I think that they Peugeot rear brakes are similar to Citroen BX fronts. They are disc and have a handbrake. The trick is being able to "push" he piston back into the calliper. I think they use a screw type . It should be round about 45mm diameter with 2 slots in the outer ring of the piston. You can buy a tool which will turn and push the piston back in. You can use a large screw driver on edge but be careful not to damage the rubber seals. Once the piston is retracted the fitting of new pads is easy. Remember to pump pedal a number rof times before driving off, also hand brake cable may need adjusting If none of this makes any sense.. could be me or probably best to go to Kwik fit or local friendly garage.
Buy yourself the Haynes Manual for the car, rear brakes are easily done by the novice maintainer this book will tell you how and what spares you nees
