How do i find out what happened to a car if i have a registration number from 1930 begining UW. No use DVLA?

Since that was 76 years ago, I doubt you will find much of anything. The registration for that car was written looooonnnggg before computers becam common place.
The record may be archived (good luck) in the county of issue. It would involve getting permission to dig through all those dusty old boxes of paperwork stored somewhere in the county.
Err it got recycled into tin cans!
If the car was made after 1982 it would also have a VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) associated with it that is given by the automaker on an international basis. It will be 17 digits long and contain letters and numbers. If this is the case, try www.carfax.com. It gives information on previous owners, accidents, and service records.
However, if the car was produced before 1982, international VIN numbers would not yet exist (and would be untrackable by carfax). It may still be possible that a state issued VIN number may exist on a car of that age. The only other way that I know to track a car that old would be to run a CLUE report on the car. It gives information on all insurance claims ever filed for the vehicle. You could obtain one from this website:

UW was allocated to London, so it would have been registered by the old LCC. These records are now AFAIK under the control of the GLA.
That applies though _only_ if its a two letter mark eg UW1234.
In the three letter system from the early 1930s to 1964 UWA would be Sheffield, UWY Leeds and UWS Edinburgh; there are various others though most if not all UWxnnn marks were issued in the 1950s or 1960s.
