Bonnet catch cable on renault laguna snaped can any one tell me how to get bonnet up thanks?

i've acheved this same act by lying under the front of the car and wedging my hand up to the cable between the radiator!
it's tricky but can be done!!
See the third review on this page - they had to take the bumper off in that case
same way as my mate got into his mini, 2 pairs of pliers. you need to catch both ends of the cable an pull!!
