Delivering cars - how do I get into it?

You know them blokes that you see hitchhiking with car number plates because they've just dropped a car off somewhere? How do you get a job doing that?

I have a little bit of time before I start a new job so see it as a way to make money in the meantime.

Thanks for your help.

Great ! I did it for 3 years, it was an amazing job.If you work at it and gain experience it can be a very interesting way to make a little money.
Out in all weathers, much walking every day, but, you will meet many interesting people and your knowledge of the country will greatly increase.
You will know exactly what junctions, roundabouts and slip roads to stand at and every blooming car dealership in the UK.maybe even abroad, we took Porsches to Belgium and trucks to the south of France !

Check out your local paper for delivery driver ads.
First put key in and turn then pull door open now as you have unlocked it then slide in but mind your head.
have you tried any of the car web sites to see if they have a recruitment section
Try ringing around a few car dealers also some hire companies also hire people to do this.
Try looking in Yellow Pages. That is what I did. Worst paid, crap hours, but the best job I ever had. If you live in the North Yorks area, I could give a couple of names.
