Here is where to find out:

This will tell you by zip code if you are in the USA, retail, trade, wholesale values.
There was NEVER a cabriolet version of the '92 S4
It only came in Saloon or Avant format. The first cabriolet S car Audi produced was the newer S4 which first appeared on April 1st 2004.
I suspect that the car you are looking at is a cabriolet with S4 badges on it.
A bit odd this one as the cabrio was based on the Audi 80 and the S4 was based on the Audi 100 - a much larger car.
Some easy checks to perform are,,,,,
Look at the engine. An S4 will have a 2.2litre 5 cylinder turbo lump with 4-wheel drive.
The Cabrio never had 4 wheel drive until 2001
If you're struggling to identify the engine, check the dash layout.
A Cabrio will have speedo and rev counter with trip computer between them. There will be 3 auxilliary gauges down by the gear stick showing oil temp, oil pressure and volts.
This link shows how a Cabrio dash should look.. http://freespace.virgin.net/kenny.jardin.
This next one shows an S4 interior.. http://www.audiforum.nl/models/previous/.
Notice the diff lock next to the handbrake. The Cabrio will not have this.
I think someone is trying to pull a fast one on you. Be careful. Check out the paperwork and make sure the chassis numbers match. If in doubt phone an Audi dealership and quote them the chassis number. They will tell you exactly what the car is.
Good luck
£500 - £800
what that old banger, i'll offer u 1p
If you are trying to sell, bear in mind that any car is worth as much as people are prepared to pay for it. Put it on eBay with no reserve and see what happens.
If you are looking to buy, get it HPi checked and if any concerns contact the manufacturer to verify details. As for a valuation, walk into your local Audi dealership and tell them that this is the car you are looking for and if they have any. And if not, how much could it be if they had? Most will have a database of what is available country-wide with prices.
