I have Just ordered a Saab 9-5 Aero Hot Estate, Any comments??

My wife has a 51-Reg 9-5 Estate, although it is only the cooking version (2-litre light turbo with 150bhp).
No problems (touch wood) since we bought it in March (come to that, her 9-3 only had one fuse blow in nearly 2 years) and it does feel like a quality car - very comfy, very roomy, and easy to drive. Your Aero will go much faster, of course, so I expect you will be well-pleased with it.

Don't know much about 9-5 models but I have a 9-3 Vector. Every day I wish a meteor would fall out of the sky and demolish the thing! It spends too much time in the shop (it's actually there right now and I've got a free 9-3 loaner that is newer and actually worse than my car) and I'm trying to work some deals out to unload it on some other unlucky person.
With that being said, I sincerely hope that your experience with GM/Saab is more pleasant than the nightmare I've been going through.
Order a supply of replacement gearboxes as well, they're less reliable than a Plumbers estimate!!

why?
saab underneath is a aged old car with old technology over 10 yrs old. when did they last release a completely new car? just facelifts don't make the car any good.
u have to cancel, the car will depreciate like mad, old technolgy means car is light yrs away from top estates of audi a4 avant, bmw 3 series, merc,
just some fancy lights at the back doesn't make the car any good
u should comsider the a4 avant, holds its value(german do ) , solid, built quality exceptional and highly regarded in any magazine,etc
u should know that this car is actually teh same car 10 yrs b4 with just some fancy cosmetical changes.
Yes they are a fine car but a lot of components are now GM thats not so good.
Dont do it!! You may as well buy one thats 10 years old, they look the same boring car they did back then.
