Put it at the end of your road or at a busy place where it can be seen but no obstruct. Then get some flourescent orange or yellow paper, a thick black marker pen and leave a semi-illiterate description, price and your phone number and wait for it to sell.
Best message I saw was "Lada 1300, £150 or will swap wife for a dog!" - it sold within a few days or the owner got himself a new dog and now cooks his own meals and has to wash his own clothes.
