How long could i be banned from driving after getting twelve points on my licence?
Answers:
In the UK, If they are on your licence from a totting up - e.g. 4 seperate motoring offences in the last 3 years such as speeding, then the minimum you will get is 6 weeks. If you have 12 points, but 3 of them are over 3 years old then you will not be banned as only 9 are current.
The bad news, is not the 6 week ban. The bad news will be the fine, and then the insurance (if you can get insured at all!) will be astronomical.
Attend the court in person, employ an experienced solicitor and barrister on your behalf and beg for forgiveness - if you are 30 plus, in a responsible job, with a family and no previous form, you might just get away with it, failing that, you're screwed. Sorry.
well lets see in Missouri it would be one year
depends what state you live in and how old you are
If I had my way, permanently. You don't get twelve points by accident.
Depends on where you live, and no matter where that is, if you've got anything close to that, maybe you should take drivers ed...
You should get used to driving a bike around, good luck impressing the ladies. I drive a Porche by the way.
well i got banned for six months, but depends what you got your points for.
it depends what the points are for, it could be anything from six months to one year.
hope this is of help
Not long enough.
Depends on the offence that put your points up to twelve, your age and previous convictions. Also it depends on the judge and what your lawyer can get it down to.
It might be 6 months to a year.
in europe average 3 years ban, if your in the states im not sure.
