Problem with fuel & temp guage on a vauxhall corsa.?
Answers:
It sounds most like the small voltage regulator on the back of the dash for sure. Why? well because the OLY link between those two gauges really is the voltage regulator. Maybe.. its just loose, they are often held on with one small screw. Remove the dash, then look at the back of it for a small black transistor , very big picture of one: http://w1.qehs.net/dept/technology/graph.
I bet its that part, costs about £6 :-)
Disconnect your battery, then remove the dash and check the transistor is tight, if it is, still consider replacing it. Irts cheap and will eliminate it as a potential cause
Its common for that to happen on the Corsa. I am ussinging you have one of the older corsas.

Electrical problem..
Try the fuses, bet u thats it!
YOU CAN PURCHASE LIQUID FILLED GUAGES THE WILL STOP ALL THAT BOUNCING THE NEEDLES DO.
Its probably the voltage stabilizer in the dash assembly well known Corsa fault
replace them but if you cant get the real gauges you can purchase gauges but mount them elsewhere.
the dash is all electronic it just plugs in to a block connector when u push the whole thing it. it will locate automatically.
they do come loose , try unscrewing the whole pod and then push it back in . hope this helps.
My bet would be voltage stabilizer too
