Is it illegal in scotland to tow a car with a rope?

Answers:
I don't know about Scotland, but it is illegal everyplace that I know of - And it is UNWISE - EVERYWHERE. Ropes are not made for towing, and a broken rope could easily cause property damage, bodily injury, or death. DON'T do it.
i don't know about in Scotland but it is only illegal here if you get caught by the cops

Well you can't hang a man with a wooden leg. You have to use a rope
