I have an '05 so its body style is a lil diff but its the same car. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the gas mileage and how much I am NOT spending at the pump.I like how compact it is yet has alotta trunk space. I just wish it had a bigger back seat and also air vents in the back. I never rode in the back for the test drive and I wish I would have.. I would have ended up choosing the accord. But all in all its a great car and extremely reliable.. havent had one single prob yet or even the hint of one.. I guess thats just Honda for ya :)
We had one on test drive for one week from Honda (nice people, they let us take their cars and thrash them) All in all a very nice car handles well and is very very fast. Dashboard lights up like the starship enterprise and the nifty start button is easier than fumbling with a key.
Downside, rear window spoiler, it goes right accross the back window in the middle and blocks off your rear view
Other than that if you can afford it buy it well worth the money
Honda Civic, A good car. Good mileage reliability. However, Toyota Corolla has a slight edge. Lower priced, better ride, same very good milegae and reliability. Compare.

jap cars r good on reliability but depreciation is bad. u should consider the vw golf, german always good, deprecaition is low, car of the yr. built quality is there to see. honda interior is cheap and built quality isn't great. don't be fooled by the price, ull get much more back. check out 2nd hand golfs to civics in magazines etc. u can see it yourself.
