Mercedes ml320 passenger door lock does not respond?
Answers:
Mercedes' are designed such that, unless it was built prior to about 1995 (which I know the ML-class was not), if anything goes wrong, you pretty much have to take it in to a dealer for service. It sucks, I know, but there's really no other choice, and I apologize.
sounds like a short,my truck does the same thing, like its posessed or something.what you can do is release the fuse for the door lock and do it manually.mercedes are great cars, but not cheap so go let the dealer do this that way you can get a warranty on the work, come on treat that mercedes e-special!
As previously stated your only real choice is to take the car to your local dealers, merc have a system called star which communicates with all the different senors and computers fitted to the vehicle, i work as an assessor and look after merc apprentices and this would be the only way you could have the fault diagnosed and repaired, the upshot is that if the vehicle is quiet new most repairs are done under warrenty
