ask someone who Pelvic inflammatory disease (or disorder) (PID) is a generic term for infection of the female uterus, fallopian tubes, and/or ovaries as it progresses to scar formation with adhesions to nearby tissues and organs. This may lead to tissue necrosis with/or without abscess formation. Pus can be released into the peritoneum. ⅔ of patients with laparoscopic evidence of previous PID were not aware they had had PID (Cecil's 5th ed). PID is often associated with sexually transmitted diseases, as it is a common result of such infections. PID is a vague term and can refer to viral, fungal, parasitic, though most often bacterial infections. PID should be classified by affected organs, the stage of the infection, and the organism(s) causing it. Although a sexually transmitted infection is often the cause, other routes are possible, including lymphatic, postpartum, postabortal (either miscarriage or abortion) or IUD related, and hematogenous spread.
has this,
find the cable and pull it or remove the grille and open bonnet
try and get to the latch from under the car, messy and a tight squeze
have 1 with the same problem you need 2 people one to pull the latch in the car and the other to pull the catch under the bonnet and that will work but eventually i found out i could tighten the cable and it is now ok
tin can opener??
hffh
your laguna could well have pelvic inflammitory disease, but if it turns out not to be this then its really common on these for the cables under the bonnet to stretch, there are 2 latches, the only way to do it is jack it up get under it and pull the cable that runs between the 2 latches with a bit of rod, then change the cables and clean and grease the latches.
i had this problem in my old suzuki baleno. i got into the bonet by first sitting on the front of tthe bonnet to make sure it was down properly and then pulling the release cable several times and eventually by poking a letter opener through the grill into the mechanisim and it sprung up! patients are the main thing you will need! if you cant get it to open take it along to your local dealer play dumb and they will proberably pop it open for free!
had this problem with my old cavalier found it always worked if while you pull the lever someone else pushes down on the bonnet it catches then and opens worth a try if it works great if not sorry take to your local mechanic who will adjust the cable for you
