How long does a 3 point penalty stay on your licence?

7 years I think.. I think it's 3 for a 2 pointer and 7 for a three..
with the new laws u can only loose 5 points a year. so every year u get 5 points i think

I tried to have mine taken off last year but was told to wait another year - that means it is FOUR YEARS. Then you have to fill in a new licence application form to get the points removed and a replacement clean licence.
