Get a free flowing air filter - K&N or something like that. Also, sort out the exhaust - ideally take the silencer off but that attracts rozzers. You can get straight through exhausts (fewer or no baffles in them) but this may be too expensive. Depending on the age of the engine there are a lot of little tricks. Change the oil - put some 'better' stuff in, but there's no point in going mad. Try an engine treatment that cleans up carbon depisits etc, get the plugs out and make sure they are clean and the correct gap. Then spend a bit of cash at the pump, try Shell Optimax or BP Ultra, certainly don't buy supermarlet petrol. There's a lot of stories but you will find you may pay less on a visit to the forecourt but you will pay the price in lower milage with the supermarket stuff.
excercise
I'd need details of your car - engine size, fuel, mileage, age, etc.
Try a performance intake and exhaust sytem.
disconnect your air filter from the inlet an bin it engine wont last long but its alot of fun .
what engine have you got must be small 100 is not much
you've got a powerful bike already . don't go over
Nitrous!!
You might be better off buying a more powerful car/bike rather than spending money trying to increase the power. You risk blowing the engine, invalidating the insurance and the suspension/brakes etc might not be up to it
buy a bigger engine??
change the computer chip if it has one, or have the computer reprogrammed.
The easiest way to increase BHP is to purchase aftermarket products like air Intake, high flow exhaust and have the Electronic control unit (ECU) tuned to maximize the engines potential. Make sure you have a good mechanic install these parts for you. Its much safer.

If you need more power, then you go for a turbochargerand a wet or dry nitrous system. Just so you know, it is not advisable to install aftermarket products to a worn out engine(an engine with over 100,000 miles or over is dieing or already dead).
What make and model of car? Mileage? Any existing 'tuning parts'? How much you got to spend?
power is F/all, first thing u need is good brakes and tyres
