Ford Ka 1.3 Endura-E (60) Average MPG?

What is the average mpg i should be getting on my ford ka. Its' a 2003 with 77k on the clock. It's the Endura-E engine (60). I've had it since new but cant remember what i was getting roughly to a tank back then. At the moment i get around 350 miles to the tank, which i think has a capacity of 40 litres, which works out at around 40mpg. Most of my driving is at around 70mph.

Answers:
I had a hire car for a month last year it was a KA, I was lucky to get 300 miles out of a tank of fuel. That car was six months old when I got the car and only had 4,000 miles on the clock.

I would think 40mpg is about right, you'll be lucky to get more, unless you drive a diesel.
950

40 to the gallon, nothing wrong with it!
