Dont buy anything too cheap! Bought a cheap mountain bike from halfords (£130) back in may. Fine untill the chain snapped on it on the 9th july, i came off as the chain stopped the back wheel suddenly, the momentum of pedalling caused my right leg to go slamming down on to the tarmac and hence i seriously broke my leg, never experianced pain like it, a plate 6" long about 50 stitches and 7 scars later and im still not back to work.
Get whatever you can afford! Seriously.
I'm sure you guys have access to the same cheap chinese bikes we do. They got hold of the molds to the old Honda 150's and make a heck of a 150 dirt bike. I got two for my boys a couple months ago from Homier Dist. Company delivered for $650 each brand new in the boxes. These bikes are big. I am 6'2" and can barely touch the ground. They have an adjustable seat height and the lowest is 35 inches from seat to ground. 21" front and 19" rear tires. Check ebay. That's where I found these. They wanted $800 each but I talked to them and to buy 2 direct costed me $1300 with free shipping.
