Does a car garage/dealership have to have extraction fans fitted to extract exhaust fumes ??

Talking about for the employees benefit of not having to breath in the exhaust fumes all day. Does the age of the building affect this and does anyone know of a direct site where i can print off the info' and slap it on the boss' desk on Monday morning ??
