Audi security?

is the security i.e factory fitted alarm/immobiliser on the audi A4 (1.8 T) any good?

Answers:
The immobiliser fitted to A4s since Jan 1997 has been tested to, and meets Thatcham Category 2 (the UK insurance insustry maximum standard for immobilisers).

The alarm/immobiliser system fitted to all A4s since March 2001 has been tested to, and meets Thatcham Category 1 (the UK insurance insustry maximum standard for combined alarm/immobilisers).
Audi A3 and A8 have award winning security systems, so I'm assuming the A4's is pretty damn good too.
