My car stops half an hour after running on wet days. Anyone think they know why?

It's a Fiat Panda and I think it might be a moisture condensation issue.

It's a Fiat, is why!

Only joking. In my experience, this is water getting into the "dizzy" - distribution cap. Quite a common problem in some older cars - my sister had a Mini where this was a common occurance. The way to solve this is to cover the dizzy as much as you can with something water-tight, such as a balloon (or condom), once you've ensured that the dizzy is clean n dry inside.
Also, applying some Vaseline to the parts of the dizzy where there are joins might help too. You just need to prevent the mositure getting in.

Let us know how it goes?
Had the same problem with mine, it was moisture, as you say, getting into the distributor cap.
Yes it might be moisture on faulty cables, or bougie connections. I had that on my car as well, and i think i still have it as well.

You can renew the cables and clean the bougee with some liquid as well. It is pretty cheap if you can do it yourself, or just go to a garage and ask for them to do it.
yes, I think I know why.
No, I don't know why??
yeah could be moisture.
A quick blast with WD40 in to the distributor cap should get you to a garage or a spares shop
Does it also, when switched off run lumpy,as if its miss firring? if so, its called preignition, and your time wants adjusting
Is that when it gets to the end of the cliff?
Going against what most people say but I would imagine that after half an hour most cars are warm and any moisture would have been evaporated If it is moisture get some WD40 and spray it around the engine, as this dissipates moisture.

However the thing to also take into account is the choke on the car. This controls the Air/petrol mixture. When you first turn over the car in the morning the mixture is rich in petrol, and low in air this makes the engine turn over faster getting the engine warm, once warm the choke lessens the petrol and increases the air, making it drop in Engine speed and run more economically (So it may be just your air filter that need cleaning/replacing). On warm days this happens quicker than on cold days.

I would suspect that once warm or if you restart it after it cuts out it works OK, possibly a bit lumpy?

I would look at cleaning/ changing your engine coolant and cleaning you carburetter valves/ jets. This can be done by yourself using certain types of liquid from Halfords, or you can take it into a gargage with a krypton tuner.
well it is..get some wd40 and spray the inside of the distributer cap with it and all the leads and plugcaps
That's part of the charm of owning a Fiat.
