What do you look for when choosing a driving instructor?

Is it purly price that makes your mind up, or something else?
If it is price, are you happy to be taught by a part trained instructor, known as a PDI.( Prospective Driving Instructor), or pay more for a fully qualified instructor.(ADI).
Does anything else influence your decition?

Answers:
I looked for a high first time pass rate. I was trained by a retired police advanced driving instructor, he had a 98% first time pass rate.

Most of my mates at college went through the local BSM school, had 10 lessons and failed their tests several times, requiring more lessons in between each test. The total cost was in excess of what I paid. I had 33 lessons and passed first time.

My lessons cost more, but I was getting expert tuition and only had to pay once for the test. They were paying less, per lesson, but had to pay for more lessons in the end and more tests.
someone with alot of patience , and a true desire to help you learn .

good luck !
I went for a large company purely on the assumption that the people they employed must have been thoroughly screened.
A sexy female one with a calming voice.
One with a car.
Reccomendations From others
one that has a car

.. and can drive too
I went by word of mouth.

My driving instrunctor had taught 3 of my friends and my boyfriend at the time.

Ask people you know who they went with - that's the best way of doing it!
Accreditation. Go for someone with BSM or AA rather than independent. That proves that someone other than themselves think they are a good instructor.

If you can, get a look at the paper backup f their driving license. If they have points, they might not be the best person to use.

Recommendation from friends is also good.
someone who can drive preferably
Combination/composite of a square jawed 6'2" Marlboro man, Wyatt Earp and Wild Bill Hickok Clint Eastwood type with nerves of steel and fearless in the face of constant danger of certain death!
looks
I went with my last instructer cos he was sooo sexy! put me off a bit though so Im not with him anymore. Inface that was 3 years ago and i still cant drive!!
Trial and error. I had 3!

The first (private recommendation) got the heave ho coz every time I asked him how long til I could put in for my test he said oh a while yet. So onto.

No 2 (small company) got the heave ho coz his answer to a technical question about the mechanics of the car which I thought would help me operate it was oh you don't need to know that.

No. 3 (BSM) a bit more money but he taught me how to drive, no mucking about, and I passed first time!!

Good Luck!!
Large breasts!!!!!
