How dya polish up chrome bumbers to give em a new life?

Answers:
Apparently you can rub them with tinfoil (aluminum) dipped in coke! That is supposed to clean them up really well..

Go to Wal Mart and go to the automotive section. Find the car wash isle and find a chrome can thats called Never Dull. That stuff works great.
Don't use the tin foil method! Go to the store and buy some SOS pads. Wet your bumper and apply some water on the SOS pads and start scrubbing on the rust. Rinse off the bumper quite frequently and repeat this process over and over and you will safley remove most of the rust on it without damaging or destroying the chrome finish. I have done this many times on my bumpers and Crager wheels that I have had on my vehicles. This method only works on Chrome by the way. Hope that helped you out.
use the SOS pads, yes they work great!
If you want the chrome to be spotless and shiny use a chrome polish like Simoniz. A little hard work will be rewarded with like new chrome and it will be protected so it wont rust so fast in the future. Hope I have been helpful.
