How can I import a used motorhome from germany to the u.k.?

Yes you will have to register it in this country, which may require it being put through an M.O.T.
You will need to apply to the D.V.L.A. in Swansea and they will inform you what you need to do.
Once it is registered in this country most insurers should be able to give you a quote, although depending on it's age it might be a good idea to try a couple of specialist ones through a classic cars or caravaning organisation.

u colud use the same one but probaly better changin it u dont people thinkn ur german and any good insurance company should insure you but no idea how to get it here
drive it over here, then go to dvla offices and register it here, you will get new reg number only costs £130, got to take 2 lots of ID with you, plus all paper work, not hard i've done it twice. any insurance company should insure you then, good luck x
After 12 months in UK you must register it witth the DVLA. Costs about £150.
