Does air conditioning refill and leak fix really work?

I had system tested and was advised that it was a leak in a metal pipe - can I trust the standard fill and leak fix to solve the problem ?

Answers:
Yes and no. If you have a leak in the metal tubing of the car's a/c system, you should have it repaired. Remember unless their is a leak some where in the system, you should never have to recharge the A/C system. Now, the newer type of refrigerant, R134a, does not cool as well as the older R12. But, R12 is not environmentally friendly as the newer type. The R134a cools better when the car is moving and not at a stop or at idle.
Again, unless the system develops a leak, of any size, you should NEVER have to recharge the A/C system. I have seven vehicles total and have never had the systems recharged on any of them. Some have the older R12 and 4 of them have the newer R134a.
if it works like that stuff you put in a radiator, then it will only be temporary!! but it works!!
Nope, save your money!
