Can you use vegetable oil instead of diesal?
Answers:
yes
I have heard that you can but dont know anyone who has and i wouldnt recommend it
Yeah you can, my friend uses veg oil but you have to use half deisel half oil.
Yes, you can. Actually u can also use grease from a deep frier at a restaraunt. First u gotta make a seperate holding tank for the veggie oil, and run lines to the engine. You can find directions on how to do so online. Its easy to do. Plus u can get the veggie oil from restaruants, and they will let u take it for free if u arrange somthing with them.
Yes you can
If you are using Used vegetable oil you'll need to get a good filter.
Diesel, the inventer of the Diesel engine originally did his demonstrations with Peanut oil.
Vegetable oil has a higher viscosity than diesel from oil so in cold areas or early morning you might need a heater to get the vegetable oil to start up.

It would be safer to use KY jelly. Oil and diesel fuel will mess up your butt.
Vegetable oil is thicker and heavier than deisel fuel and has a higher flash point, (the temperature it takes to ignite). I have never heard of anyone using veg. oil as a fuel but in my opinion it would not be good for the injectors in a diesel engine and would probably clog them.
Probably, it may be more expensive. I think Diesels will run on a lot of things, not sure how well and if it damage anything over time.
Yes you can. BUT vegetable oil is the root, not the fuel itself. You have to convert it to well, basically diesel. Do a web search on "Bio-Diesel"
yes you can with an 800.00 conversion kit
