What do i need apart from the engine to fit a 1600 injection petrol motor into my 96 diesel vauxhall astra?

Answers:
There is a lot to consider. Personally I wouldn't bother, or I would replace with another diesel motor. If you really want to then as well as the engine you need to consider the fuel pump and fuel tank and depending how old it is it may need an ECU (electronic control unit). Even the battery is different. It is a lot of work for little gain. But it is possible. Good Luck
you will need an ecu wiring loom fuel tank and pump gearbox and maybe more stuff but i cant think at the mo.
but the battery will be ok
You'll need to inform your insurance company as well as it will change your policy.
