FIAT Group, or Fiat S.p.A. (Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino) is a European automobile..
At the moment, to my utmost shame and dismay I am drivng a fiat punto, not new but only a couple of years old. (my other car is a volvo, how I miss my old beast) Anyway, this fiat seems to ave the same problems that my friends uno had years ago, the engine is fine and it starts everytime. Only problem is bits break off and lights and handles and windows and wipers never work consistently. Is a shed, and I'm embarrassed to drive it!!!
No it stands for Fabbrica italiana automobili torino and yes they are better than what they were our cars a fiat.
no it does not, fiat means. fabbrica italianna automobili torino,
I owned a Fiat. I'd reserve Saturday's to repair what broke during the week. The engine went at 22,000 miles.
fix again tomorow!
No they are extreme pieces of crap.
i drove a 2000 fait punto for a year rallied it around the place like it was an evo or sumthing. ONE PROBLEM ONLY HEAD GASKET! other than that is was de most fun i had at 18 years of age. beat lots of other cars in races like my friends 99 3 door corolla. twas a little rocket of a yolk
so don't dis the punto
ps i no its **** but be easy on it, it was my first car, so i loved it dearly !!!!1
i was a European lorry driver for around 10 years and a Italian told me it stood for Fix It Again Tomorrow
i guess with time things change and mature but its still not reliable.. i heard that tata took over fiat in india. need to look into the matter and if yes its great cause we can then expect the cars to be looked after in a better and dedicated manner if sent to the service centres.. and ya.. im hearing that for the first time.. well even if it doesnt it makes sense cause they are a liability as soon as u drive them out..
if youve ever owned one, you ll be aware that with all of the gagetery getting ever popular with cars, fiat feel that if they also fit it they will improve but they are getting worse. my mate had a sincennto it was always with a tony being fixed and would go back in again tomorrow.
