Car hard to start but runs sweet once I finally get it going?
I've changed the plugs which resolved the problem for a couple of days but now its doing it again.
I think it may be something to do with the second accelerator cable which goes into a box fo some description and I'm guessing is controlled by the engine management system.
any info would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

That's the beauty of Hyundai's 5 year warranty - take it back to them - unless, of course, it's older than 5 years in which case I don't have a clue. Never had that problem with mine.
just like my ex wife. swap it for another like i did
could be your starter
I am not sure but try the starter etc..
cheapest initial option change your plugs and try, before going to the expense of a garage and starter motor, also wd40 the starter.
Your starter motor might be giving up
Just a thought
sounds like the timing is out a little
if it starts it more than likely not your starter - i would have to her it to be sure - it could be the cold start sensor which is faulty and flooding the car which could explain how changing the plugs helped - get a diagnostic check - don`t waste your wd40 on the starter! where do they get these idea`s???
Its your engine management system or possibly emission control i.e. the lambda sensor or oxygen sensor for the catalyst or the catalyst itself. Trying to start a car with a catalytic converter can flood the cat with fuel if it won't start for a while. The effect of this is that when the car finally starts the cat will fry and possibly break up as it is only a ceramic honeycomb inside. suggest you get it checked out.

Is it just from cold start it has a problem or all the time??
It certainly sounds like its flooding or choking I would have the cold start valve replaced. Has it done starship mileage? If so it could be low on compression hense why starting is difficult but running is fine.
illgive u a tip when u turn the car on as u turn the car on step on the accelerator slightly which means to press it softly
